Commands
MultiTwitch Bot provides commands for configuring your server, managing Twitch streamers, checking live status, and generating MultiTwitch links.
/setup
Configures MultiTwitch Bot for your Discord server. The setup command establishes the server-specific settings used by the bot.
Permissions
The /setup command can only be run by users who have permission to manage the server.
This includes:

- Interval: 300 seconds
- Notifications: Disabled
/add
Adds a Twitch streamer to your Discord server's tracked streamer list.
/remove
Removes a Twitch streamer from your server's tracked streamer list.
/list
Displays the Twitch streamers currently tracked by your Discord server.
/live
Checks the current live status of your tracked Twitch streamers.
Stream information is retrieved from Twitch when the command is used.
/multitwitch
Generates a MultiTwitch link using the streamers who are currently live.
Streamers who are offline are not included in the generated link.
Managing Streamers
Each Discord server maintains its own list of Twitch streamers that MultiTwitch Bot monitors.
Adding a Streamer
Use /add to add a Twitch streamer to your server's tracked list.
Removing a Streamer
Use /remove to remove a streamer from the tracked list.
Viewing Streamers
Use /list to see the streamers currently being tracked.
Stream Monitoring
MultiTwitch Bot periodically checks Twitch to determine which tracked streamers are currently live.
Manual Live Check
Use /live to manually check the current status of your tracked streamers.
Automatic Monitoring
The bot can automatically poll Twitch based on the configured update interval.
The default interval is 300 seconds.
Live Stream Information
When a tracked streamer is live, the bot can retrieve information about the current stream.
This information includes:
- Streamer name
- Game being played
- Viewer count
- Stream title
- Stream start time
MultiTwitch Links
MultiTwitch Bot can generate a MultiTwitch link containing the streamers who are currently live.
How It Works
- The bot checks the tracked streamers.
- Offline streamers are excluded.
- The live streamers are used to construct the MultiTwitch link.
Generate a MultiTwitch Link
Use /multitwitch to generate the link.
If none of the tracked streamers are live, there are no live streams available to include in the generated link.
Dashboard
MultiTwitch Bot can maintain a dedicated dashboard message in your Discord server.
Live Stream Dashboard
The dashboard displays information about currently live tracked streamers.
Automatic Dashboard Updates
The dashboard is periodically updated with current Twitch information according to the configured update interval.
Dashboard Recovery
If the dashboard message is deleted, the bot can recreate the dashboard and continue updating it.
Live Stream Information
Dashboard information can include the streamer's name, game, viewer count, and other available stream details.
Troubleshooting
Streamer Does Not Appear
Verify that the Twitch username was entered correctly and that the streamer is currently live.
/live Does Not Show a Streamer
The streamer may currently be offline. Twitch status is retrieved when the bot checks the Twitch API.
If the streamer is known to be live, verify that the correct Twitch username was added.
MultiTwitch Link Does Not Include a Streamer
Only streamers currently reported as live by Twitch are included in the generated MultiTwitch link.
Dashboard Is Not Updating
The dashboard relies on the bot being online and able to communicate with Twitch.
If the problem continues, check the bot's status and logs for errors.
Twitch API Errors
MultiTwitch Bot uses Twitch authentication tokens when communicating with the Twitch API. The bot can refresh invalid tokens and retry certain failed requests automatically.
